@V_ @Lynessence In my teens and 20s when I depended on the vagaries of bookstores and the library, I read books in whatever order I could get my hand on them. Now I'm a chronoligical completist--publication order!
I remember with the Spenser novels it was fun to read the later books first, and then jump to earlier volumes and see him meet Susan Silverman, Hawk, and Paul Giacomin.
